Resinlab® eleset™ UR7001 Clear Polyurethane Adhesive
Categories: Polymer; Thermoset; Polyurethane, TS; Thermoset Polyurethane, Adhesive

Material Notes: ResinLab® eleset™ UR7001 Clear is a two-part clear polyester polyurethane designed to provide outstanding adhesion to a variety of plastics, as well as metals. This formula is designed for use in cartridges and molding using the MoldMan Systems™ equipment. eleset™ UR7001 Clear provides excellent water and chemical resistance. eleset™ UR7001 Clear was formulated to a 1A:1B volume mix ratio for use in side-by-side dispensing cartridges and meter/mix and dispense equipment. The product will reach full cure after 24 hours under ambient conditions. The cure can be accelerated through the addition of heat. Cure schedules of 30 minutes at 65 °C or 10 minutes at 100 °C are sufficient. This formula has been processed on MoldMan System™ Mix on Demand Molding™ equipment. Cycle times of 1.5 minutes can be achieved at a mold temperature of 110 °C. The mold temperature should not exceed 150 °C. Temperatures lower than 110 °C can be utilized but the cycle time will be increased. eleset™ UR7001 Clear is suitable for use in medical device assembly, it has been tested and is proven non-toxic per ISO 10993-5. Manufacturers should test their own finished product for biocompatibility.
