Material Notes: Product description: WACKER® FINISH CT 78 E is a nonionic macro emulsion of a reactive, aminofunctional silicone fluid.

Application: WACKER® FINISH CT 78 E is particularly suitable as softener for the impregnation of fibers and textiles. WACKER® FINISH CT 78 E imparts a very soft, smooth and elastic touch to woven and knitted fabrics. WACKER® FINISH CT 78 E is considered to be the best softening agent for PES/cotton fabrics. WACKER® FINISH CT 78 E improves the wash-and - wear properties and the crease recovery angle, sewability and tear strength and reduces abrasion loss. The effects are fast to washing and dry cleaning. WACKER® FINISH CT 78 E has very little effect on the degree of whiteness. Generally, no adverse effect on the shade or colour fastness properties of coloured goods is observed. As part of formulations used as fill fibre finish WACKER® FINISH CT 78 E imparts excellent slickness and resilience to the fibre.
