Material Notes: Description: MTM29SFR pregrepgs are controlled flow, 120°C (248°F) curing, halogen-free, flame-retarded epoxy materials offering flexible processing and handling characteristics. MTM29SFR has been developed specifically for rail applications and can be processed by oven vacuum bag, press molding and autoclave. These prepregs exhibit a good balance of mechanical properties and, after a suitable cure, can be used at temperatures up to 80°C (176°).

  • 12 months storage life at -18°C (0°F)
  • Versatile processing: oven vacuum bag, autoclave and press molding
  • Can be cured 80 to 135°C (176 to 275°F)

  • Meets the fire requirements of BS6853 Category 1b (exteriors and Category II (interiors)
