Vitro Minerals CS 200 Recycled Glass Powder
Categories: Ceramic; Glass

Material Notes: CS Glass powders are functional glass fillers and extenders made from 100% recycled glass. The products are white to off-white colored powders with a uniform particle size distribution. X-ray diffraction and scanning electron microscopy confirm that the CS Glass powders are fully amorphous and contain no crystalline silica. CS Glass powders provide a clean post consumer filler for polymer-based systems where the highest brightness is not required. The fillers impart excellent abrasion resistance and chemical stability to coatings and other polymer systems. Vitro Minerals’ unique processing system and true particle size classification provides consistent product quality for three grades with finenesses covering a range of potential applications: CS-200 (d50 = 12-16 µm); CS-325 (d50 = 10-12 µm); and CS-400 (d50 = 6-8 µm).
