Material Notes: Product Description: INHANCE HD-1000 Series Polyethylene Particles are surface-activated High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) in particle or powder form. Surface activation makes the particles easy to disperse, and creates superior adhesion between the particles and the surrounding polymer.

Applications: Add INHANCE HD polyethylene to urethanes, epoxies, polyesters, and other polymers to create composites that capture the unique benefits of HDPE. These benefits include excellent abrasion resistance, reduced coefficient of friction, enhanced tear strength and improved moisture barrier. INHANCE HD polyethylene can be used in many applications including molded parts, adhesives, paints, and coatings. It can be used as profile additive that tenaciously bonds to the matrix polymer. INHANCE HD polyethylene is easily dispersed in water-based, solvent, and 100% solids coatings of all types. Typical incorporation levels are in the range of 5% - 40%.
