Danquinsa DANCURE® 101 Isocyanate Hardeners
Categories: Other Engineering Material; Additive/Filler for Polymer

Material Notes: DANCURE® 101 is based on aliphatic Polyisocyanate and doesn’t contain any solvent. DANCURE® 101 is water soluble and can be used as a crosslink for all water based PUR- and polymer dispersions, polyvinyl acetate, Hydroxyl functional polymer’s, for Industrial 2-Components, aqueous PUR-Coatings and wood finishes. Properties:
  • Fast cross linking
  • High reactive, high initial tensile strengths
  • No discolouration
  • Good water solubility
  • High thermal stability.
  • Increases the resistance of bonding films to
  • greases, plasticiser, water and various solvents.
Application: The adhesive-dispersion must be mixed with DANCURE® 101 thoroughly to get a good homogenization otherwise it can lead to granular deposits. The hardener-adhesive mixture must be processed within pot life. Water based systems don’t start gelling after pot life is finished. End of pot life (lasts for several hours) can be determined by decrease of strength of the bond. After adding DANCURE® 101 again one can achieve the original strength of bond again.
