Vinnolit® E 70 CQ PVC for Paste Application
Categories: Polymer; Thermoplastic; Vinyl (PVC)

Material Notes: Vinnolit® E 70 CQ PVC for paste application. Vinnolit® E 70 CQ is a fine-particle, paste making emulsion homopolymer giving very high-viscosity plastisols with a good shelf life. The lower plasticizer limit for pastes made from Vinnolit® 70 CQ is approx. 80 parts DINP based on 100 parts PVC. All pastes above this limit show a highly pseudo plastic rheology. Accordingly, Vinnolit® E 70 CQ - apart from its main application of fabric base coating - is used as a blend component to raise the yield point or to reduce the dilatancy of pastes. This applies for instance when laminating fabrics directly into wet foam coats, in automotive underbody sealants or to prevent the formation of blobs during spread coating.

Information provided by Vinnolit.
