Application: EM 1949 is a 35% active cationic emulsion of amine functional polydimethylsiloxane, which enhances the performance characteristics of car waxes, shampoos, rinses, hair styling gels and shampoo-in hair colorings. This emulsion demonstrates excellent dilution and solution compatibility because of its very small particle size in the range of 0.5 micron. The product also demonstrates outstanding reactivity and ease of formulation with car polishes and shampoos. EM 1949 improves wet combing ease, luster, and resistance to dry flyaway when used in after-shampoo hair rinses or shampoo conditioning agents. EM 1949 is used in a variety of release applications as well as a leather conditioner, vinyl dressing and rubber treatment.
