Material Notes: Hordaresin CH 151 P is a solid chlorinated alkane which is used in a variety of applications including paints, coatings, rubber, adhesives, polyolefins, textiles & fabrics. It is used primarily as a flame retardant and shows excellent synergy with antimony trioxide. Additionally, ancillary improvements in various grades of rubber have been seen with improvements in both tensile and tear properties. In polyolefins, Hordaresin CH 151 P is generally recommended for use in standard grades of low-density polyethylene. In mineral filled polypropylene composites, Hordaresin CH 151 P has been used as a coupling agent.
