Universal Wire Works 317L Stainless Steel Electrode

Material Notes: Universal 317L electrodes are slightly higher in alloy content than type 316L, particularly in molybdenum and are used primarily for welding type 317 stainless steel. This electrode is used extensively for resistance to corrosion caused by sulfuric and sulfurous acids. Alloy 317L is used in the manufacturing and maintenance repair of equipment and parts for the chemical, refining, paper and textile industries. Allow 317L can be used to fabricate equipment subject to temperatures up to 1300 degrees F.
