Material Notes:	Ceradyne, Inc., a 3M company, manufactures 3M™ Enriched Boron Oxide by dehydration of the standard enriched boric acid product. The resulting anhydrous product exhibits the same overall quality levels as the beginning boric acid material. Enriched boron oxide from Ceradyne is available in 10B and 11B. 3M enriched boron oxide is used in the manufacture of glass, and as a precursor to further synthesis. 3M 10B enriched boron oxide is also an excellent neutron poison alternative to boric acid for heavy water reactors, due to its lack of hydrogen.
