Empilon EMPILON® 355 TPE
Categories: Polymer; Thermoplastic; Elastomer, TPE

Material Notes: EMPILON® 3 series is the entry-level material of EMPILON®, which can be widely used in general products that do not require tensile strength (such as tool handles, daily commodities, sports goods, stationery toys, etc.); It is a mainly blending material, with hardness range between Shore A28 ~ Shore 85, can be processed by injection molding, extrusion molding and calendaring. The series is non-toxic. It does not contain RCRA 8 heavy metals, halogens, phthalate and is 100% recyclable and eco-friendly. It can pass the European Union Waste Electronics and Electrical Equipment (WEEE), Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) regulations and meet the environmental requirements of SONY SS-00259 4th Edition. It has great chemical resistant and hydrolysis resistant performance. EMPILON® 3 series products need to be dried with hot air at 70-80? (dehumidification and drying is recommended) for at least 2 hours before processing, and drying is required during injection molding process. When you want to dye this series of products, please choose PE or EVA as the substrate of masterbatch, and never use PVC as the base material. In addition, please use a higher screw speed and higher back pressure to achieve better dispersion of the colorant.

Series Features:

  • Wide Hardness Range
  • Non-toxic Material
  • Excellent Low Temperature Property
  • No DOP
  • Chemical Resistance
  • Hydrolysis Resistance
  • Easy to Processing, apply to general usage product
  • Able to process with normal processing methods
