CIMTUFF® 9103s talc is a treated talc produced from high purity ore, which provides low iron content, low surface area and superior color in dry form as well as when incorporated with resins. CIMTUFF® 9103s talc is primarily used in appearance and natural polypropylene, where improved tensile strength, flexural modulus, heat distortion temperature, increased stiffness, reduced shrinkage and lower compounding costs are required. The low level amino functional silane treatment helps aid dispersion and couple the mineral with various resin systems, most notably polyolefins. CIMTUFF® 9103s talc is platy, hydrophobic, non-abrasive and chemically inert.
