Master Bond EP29LPAOHT Two component, thermally conductive, electrically insulative epoxy system
Categories: Polymer; Thermoset; Epoxy; Epoxy Adhesive

Material Notes: Key Features:
  • Low exotherm
  • Excellent flow properties
  • Superior dimensional stability
  • Well suited for large potting applications
Master Bond EP29LPAOHT is a two component epoxy system featuring good thermal conductivity along with being electrically isolating. It has convenient handling with a forgiving 100 to 50 mix ratio by weight. It is a low to moderate viscosity system with excellent flow properties. It can be mixed in masses over a gallon because it generates an exceptionally low exotherm. It has a very long open time. The recommended cure schedule is overnight at room temperature followed by 4-6 hours at 150°F to 170°F. It also has very low shrinkage upon curing and dimensional stability. This epoxy bonds well to a wide variety of substrates including metals, glass, ceramics and many different plastics. EP29LPAOHT is a very good heat conductor while retaining reliable electrical insulation values. It is resistant to water, fuels and oils. It has an array of other desirable properties including a high modulus, outstanding compressive strength, and a low coefficient of thermal expansion. Part A is black and Part B is off white. The service temperature range is -60°F to +350°F. EP29LPAOHT is ideally suited for specialty potting applications where large amounts (up to and greater than 1 gallon) of epoxy will be poured at one time.

Product Advantages:

  • Low to moderate viscosity
  • Flows smoothly and readily
  • Long working life at ambient temperatures
  • Good thermal conductivity
  • Reliable electrical insulator
