Versalis Extir® AM 3000 AE Flame Retardant Expanded Polystyrene

Material Notes:	Extir AM 3000 AE is an HBCD-free flame retardant expandable polystyrene in the form of spherical beads of medium particle size, containing pentane as blowing agent. Extir does not contain CFC or HCFC. Extir AM 3000 AE is used for production of shaped moldings with section greater than 8 mm and of medium-high density blocks. Applications: Extir AM 3000 AE is used mainly in building and industrial packaging applications where, for legislative or safety reasons, the use of a flame retardant material is required. Typical applications are: industrial packaging (e.g. cathode ray tube protection),medium / high density blocks for thermal insulation, window dressing, theatre backgrounds, molded panels for under floor heating, molded or block-cut building components.
