Bis(ethylenedithio)tetrathiafulvalene (BEDT-TTF) is an organic superconducting polymer that is used as an electron donor with a superconducting transition temperature (Tc) of 10K. Applications: BEDT-TTF may be used as a counter-anion with tetrathiocyanatocuprate which can be prepared by the galvanostatic electrocrystallization process. It may also be used in the preparation of novel paramagnetic conductors by synthesizing multifunctional molecular materials with manganese containing complexes. BEDT-TTF based doping may be used in the fabrication of a hybrid organic change generation layer which can potentially be used in the development of tandem organic light emitting diodes (OLEDs). Molecular Formula: C10H8S8 IUPAC Name: 2-(5,6-dihydro-[1,3]dithiolo[4,5-b][1,4]dithiin-2-ylidene)-5,6-dihydro-[1,3]dithiolo[4,5-b][1,4]dithiine Synonyms: BEDT-TTF SMILES: C1CSC2=C(S1)S\C(S2)=C3\SC4=C(SCCS4)S3 Alfa Chemistry Materials product group: Semiconductor Manufacturer data sheet |
