WACKER® SG 3381 is a polyalkylene oxide-modified polydimethylsiloxane designed to provide the user with a combination of uses not possible with conventional organic surfactants. WACKER® SG 3381 can be used in aqueous and non-aqueous systems. WACKER® SG 3381 is a polydimethylsiloxane having organo-functional groups. This results in a functionality of 2 per modified polydimethylsiloxanes. The functional groups are bonded to the polydimethylsiloxane by chemically inert alkylene spacer groups, which are stable to hydrolysis. Application: WACKER® SG 3381 is particularly suitable in numerous applications, including: coating to improve coefficient or friction and leveling properties. Due to WACKER® SG 3381 low surface tension it can yield high wetting, while also enhancing lubricity, sheen, gloss, anti-caking, static suppressing, antifoaming and moderate profoaming. It also demonstrates surfactancy properties that are of benefit in multipleother end applications. It is 100% concentrated, economical, and has low toxicity.
