Lucas-Milhaupt 97.5/ 2.5 (97.5 Pb / 2.5 Ag) Lead-Silver Soft Solder (ASTM B32 Ag 2.5)
Categories: Metal; Nonferrous Metal; Lead Alloy; Solder/Braze Alloy

Material Notes: 97.5/2.5 Ag alloy is a general purpose soft solder used in applications involving soldering of copper and copper alloys and/or ferrous base alloys. This alloy should not be used in soldering of potable water systems due to its high lead content. A lead free alloy should be used instead. For water potable systems LM recommends Silver/Copper/Tin system such as SilvabriteĀ®-No Lead, or Tin/Silver systems such as Silvabrite and /or Silvabrite 6. The use of TEC flux is recommended in conjunction with this alloy.

Available forms: Wire, engineered preforms.
