Material Notes: MultiQ™ is a line of modular thermoplastic composites in panel form whose specific properties make them particularly suitable as an alternative to plywood in outdoor applications. Their sandwich panel form of MultiQ™ composites gives them tremendous versatility, allowing for design freedom in wide-ranging applications. Also available are MultiQ™ Concrete and MultiQ™ Impact, sandwich panels consisting of both a glass and polypropylene fiber core that is faced on both sides with a cover layer of high-strength, UV-resistant thermoplastic composite materials. The unique combination of multi-directional glass fibers in the core and cover layer fibers oriented in the direction of tension and compression results in a sandwich panel with incredibly high stiffness as well as a low weight per unit area.
