Master Bond adhesives
Empilon EMPILON® HNT280 TPE
Categories: Polymer; Thermoplastic; Elastomer, TPE

Material Notes: EMPILON®HAR series is mainly used to bond with engineering plastics, such as ABS, PC, Nylon, PETG, PBT, etc., it has excellent tactile feelings, matte surface texture, shock absorption and anti-slip. Usually widely be utilized in electronics or hand tool industry. It is a blending material based on modified hydrogenated Styrenic block copolymer, with a hardness range from Shore A39 to Shore A85. Its main processing method is double injection or co-extrusion. The series is non-toxic. It does not contain RCRA 8 heavy metals, halogens, phthalate and is 100% recyclable and eco-friendly. It can pass the European Union Waste Electronics and Electrical Equipment (WEEE), Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) regulations and meet the environmental requirements of SONY SS-00259 4th Edition. This series owns excellent mechanical property, weather and heat resistance, good resilience and has low specific gravity, good chemical resistant and hydrolysis resistant performance. HAR series products need to be dried with hot air at 80-90? (dehumidification and drying is recommended) for at least 2 hours before processing, and drying is required during injection molding process. When you want to dye this series of products, please choose PE or EVA as the substrate of masterbatch, and never use PVC as the base material. In addition, please use a higher screw speed and higher back pressure to achieve better dispersion of the colorant.

Series Features:

  • Excellent Heat Aging Resistance
  • Low Specific Gravity
