Material Notes: BELSIL® ADM 1370 is an aminofunctional polydimethylsiloxane fluid with a viscosity of < 4000 mm² / s and an amine number of 0.6 meq / g. BELSIL® ADM 1370 shows a low odor characteristic.

Application: The main field of application for BELSIL® ADM 1370 is hair care. When BELSIL® ADM 1370 is formulated under acidic conditions, its amine groups bear a positive charge and effectively interact with the negatively charged hair surface to ensure effective conditioning. The variety of possible applications ranges from shampoos, rinse-off conditioners, hair masks and serums to styling products like mousses and many more hair care products. BELSIL® ADM 1370 improves wet and dry combing for damaged and natural hair and causes a soft and smooth hair feel. The use of Amodimethicone fluids like BELSIL® ADM 1370 for color protection and heat protection benefits is well established in the hair care industry. BELSIL® ADM 1370 can also be added to reduce fly-away caused by electrostatic charging.
