HexWeb® TPU™ is an attractive thermoplastic urethane honeycomb that has been developed using a proprietary fusing process. The core can be supplied either sandwiched between two face sheets of polyurethane material or stabilized by heat flanging the edges of the cells. The resulting HexWeb® TPU™ structure is eye-catching and flexible; it redirects energy, resists fatigue, and provides cushioning.
Specifications: Available in 7/32 inch, 9/32 inch, and 7/16 inch cell sizes. HexWeb® TPU™ core is available with a cell wall gauge of 0.012 inches.

Features: Energy redirection, Impact attenuation, Flexible, Cushioning, Lightweight, Durable, Visually appealing, Abrasion resistant, Tear and puncture resistant, Moisture resistant, Fatigue resistant, Complete recovery after impact (no permanent set), Amenable to wide temperature range, Thermally insulating.
Applications: HexWeb® TPU™ is an excellent material for any application requiring flexibility, cushioning, and withstanding repetitive impacts. This versatile honeycomb product is currently being used very successfully for energy redirection in soles of athletic footwear. It is also a superior product for use in interior cushions, body protection vests, orthopedic braces, and sports protective equipment. It has excellent fatigue resistance and remains flexible at low temperatures.
