Material Notes: TRA-COAT 15C is a clear, non-yellowing, UV curable nameplate coating that is ideal for applications that require a glossy, "lens-like" finish. TRA-COAT 15C will cure at a rate of 5-10 feet per minute with a 200 watt/inch medium pressure mercury vapor lamp. This photopolymer will also offer low shrinkage during cure and excellent stability thereafter. TRA-COAT 15C is a flexible material that offers excellent adhesion to many substrates including glass, most metals, and many plastics. TRA-COAT 15C has been used successfully in the lamination of nameplates, badges, labels, coating of plastic parts and also bonding applications in liquid crystal displays and other optical end products.
