Lucite® 47G is usually processed as a glass separation resin and has major particle size distribution between 80-100 mesh. It is a methyl methacrylate copolymer. End products have outstanding UV existence, Excellent weatherability, superior abrasion resistance, excellent resistance to water, alcohol, dilute acids and bases, chemical fumes, and corrosive/oxidizing environments, high gloss and hardness, water-white color and transparency, and resistance to discoloration when heated. Lucite® resins are available as minute spherical beads, water-white only (no tints) and transparent. Thermally stable to 230°C.
