| Lucite International has developed novel polymer chemistry which delivers Elvacite® thermoplastic acrylic resins with controlled molecular architecture and enables the coatings formulator to achieve higher solids solutions / lower VOC emissions without significant compromise to physical properties or causing odor problems. The technology has been developed with a VOC limit target of 3.5 lb./gal. Elvacite® 2927 can be employed in a wide range of inks and coatings systems, where the increased solids or reduced solution viscosity are desired.
