| Product Description: Akrosperse® and Akroform® MBT-75/EPR is a polymeric dispersion of 2-Mercaptobenzo thiazole. MBT is an extremely active primary accelerator used for curing slower polymers (like EPDM or butyl) or where fast set-up times are needed (continuous cures) or curing temperatures are low (e.g., 260?F). Advantages: Polymer bound or encapsulated dispersions are a proven means of upgrading plant safety, efficiency, quality & raw material control. Akrochem polymer bound or encapsulated chemical dispersions eliminate any irritating dust, as well as other potential hazards in handling powders in the plant.
