| Hifax polypropylene resins based on the Catalloy process are used in applications such as building and construction (e.g., single-ply roofing), industrial applications (e.g., wire and cable), and automotive industries. Hifax priovides good processability, excellent impact resistance, a broad range of stiffness from very soft to rigid products, high temperature resistance and low linear coefficient of thermal expansion. Hifax TYC 258X NA BLACK is a 28% talc reinforced, impact modified and non UV stabilized polypropylene copolymer for injection molding. It combines an excellent flowability with a low coefficient of linear thermal expansion and very good processability. This grade is typically used for molding of large complex parts that require good dimensional stability. It suitable only for painted parts or parts that have no UV exposure.
