ChevronTexaco Delo® 2000 Marine Engine Oil, SAE 30
Categories: Fluid; Lubricant

Material Notes: Features

Chevron Marine Engine Oil Delo 2000 Marine is a high quality engine oil developed for use in a wide variety of medium speed trunk piston engines burning marine diesel oils, or residual fuels.

It is manufactured using high quality base oils and dispersant, detergent, antioxidant, antiwear, and alkaline reserve additives.

The base number or alkalinity of this oil is 20. The detergent/dispersant properties of this oil provide exceptionally clean crankcases and keep oil control rings clean. These properties reduce lube oil filter blockage and provide excellent insolubles control handling characteristics.

Chevron Marine Engine Oil Delo 2000 Marine has extremely good viscosity control in severe high temperature service.

it has a high degree of water tolerance. Water can be centrifuged out with essentially no loss of additive. Water washing of the oil, however, is not recommended.

Applications

Chevron Marine Engine Oil Delo 2000 Marine is recommended for use in medium speed trunk piston engines burning marine diesel oils or residual fuels with up to 2.5% sulfur content.

The antiwear additives contained in Chevron Marine Engine Oil Delo 2000 Marine provides outstanding load carrying and antiwear characteristics. In the FZG (A/8, 3/90) gear test, the fail stage for Chevron Marine Engine Oil Delo 2000 Marine was Stage10. The FZG values permit this oil to be used in engine reduction gears and other applications where additional EP/ antiwear properties are required.

Chevron Marine Engine Oil Delo 2000 Marine meets the requirements of API Service Category CF.

It is approved by all major engine manufacturers for use in their medium speed engines.
