Description: Conoco Hydroclear Super All Season and Super Motor Oils, formulated with premium base stocks, lubricate domestic and imported passenger cars, sport-utility vehicles, light-duty trucks, minivans and high performance, late-model vehicles equipped with normally aspirated, turbocharged and supercharged gasoline engines. These advanced motor oils minimize engine deposits and wear and protect against high temperature oxidation, rust, corrosion and foaming. Hydroclear Super All Season Motor Oil viscosity grades SAE 5W-30 and 10W-30 carry ILSAC GF-3 energy-conserving credentials and are approved for API Service SL/EC. They carry the API certification mark for use in gasoline engines. Hydroclear Super All Season Motor Oil SAE 10W-40 and Hydroclear Super Motor Oil SAE 30 and 40 are approved for API Service SL. The SAE 30 grade is especially suited for use in small engines where a single-grade oil is recommended. These products, and especially the SAE 5W-30 grade, demonstrate exceptionally strong cold-temperature viscosity control compared to industry standards for appropriate grades. The control, measured by the Cold Cranking Simulator (CCS) and Mini-Rotary Viscometer (MRV TP-1), ensures excellent startability and prompt oil flow in the engine during very cold weather, thereby minimizing wear on critical engine components and resulting in longer engine life. In the appropriate viscosity grade, Hydroclear Super All Season and Super Motor Oils meet the performance requirements of these specifications: ILSAC GF-3 (5W-30 and 10W-30 only), API SL Information provided by ConocoPhillips. Phillips 66 Lubricants was spun-off from ConocoPhillips in 2012, and branding was further reorganized in 2016. The Hydroclear® trade name is no longer in use but products may be available under different names. |
