Key Features Typical silicone-soft handle Self-crosslinking Increases the surface slip thereby improving the abrasion properties of leather finishes Key Applications Any kind of leather Application: HANSA® LPW 696 is an concentrated emulsion of a non-ionic epoxy-functional siloxane that gives the typical soft handle of silicones to the leather. It improves the surface slip and the abrasion properties of the leather. It is a universal silicone that can be used in cationic and anionic ground and preground without influencing the adhesion. It can also be used in a top coat. The aqueous emulsion HANSA® LPW 696 can be mixed with water at any ratio. The optimal application amount must be adjusted to the desired effect. We generally recommend an amount of 1 – 10 %. Information provided by CHT Group
