Description: Nonyl Jaguar 418 is a carboxymethylhydroxypropyl guar with extremely low residue and dual cross-linking capability. When dispersed into water with agitation it will wet out and hydrate rapidly, forming a viscous CMHPG fluid. This guar is designed for on the fly application, and where temperature stability is critical. It is tolerant to poor water quality. Chemical Name: CARBOXYMETHYL HYDROXYPROPYL GUAR CAS: 68130-15-4 Available in: Asia Pacific, Europe, Latin America and North America Applications: It can be crosslinked with borates or organometallic crosslinkers to yield a very high viscosity crosslinked gel which is stable at elevated temperatures. This guar is used to fracture deep gas and oil reservoirs Information provided by Rhodia, Rhodia has been acquired by Solvay. |
