Braskem PB681 LDPE Cast and Blown Film Extrusion, Injection Molding Polyethylene  (discontinued **)
Categories: Polymer; Film; Thermoplastic; Polyethylene (PE); Low Density (LDPE); Low Density Polyethylene (LDPE), Film Grade

Material Notes: PB681 is a resin produced under high pressure in a tubular reactor. This resin presents excellent 'draw down' (stability to form fine films). The films produced with this resin have excellent optical properties. It does not contain additives. It is used in LLDPE and HDPE blends. For blown film extrusion processing the screw - L/D relation should be 16 to 30:1, the compression rate should be 3 to 4:1, and the frost line height should at most be equivalent to the bubble diameter. For cast film extrusion processing the screw - L/D relation should be at least 20:1.
