Phillips 66 Premium Rotary Air Compressor Oil ISO Grade 46
Categories: Fluid; Lubricant

Material Notes: Premium Rotary Air Compressor Oil is a premium quality, part-synthetic lubricant developed for use in rotary air compressors operating under moderate to severe service conditions. The part-synthetic formulation provides enhanced thermal and oxidative stability at high temperatures to minimize the formation of sludge and varnish. Premium Rotary Air Compressor Oil is formulated with a blend of synthetic and premium hydrocracked paraffinic base oils, plus select additives. It has excellent oxidation resistance and thermal stability at high temperatures, plus natural detergency, to minimize deposit formation and provide long service life. It has low volatility to help reduce oil consumption, good low-temperature properties, and protects against rust and corrosion. It also has good water-separating properties and is resistant to foam buildup. Premium Rotary Air Compressor Oil is not recommended for use in reciprocating air compressors or in natural gas compression service.

Applications:

  • Oil-flooded rotary screw, rotary lobe and rotary vane air compressors
  • Circulating systems requiring a part-synthetic lubricant
  • Industrial equipment operating over a wide temperature range where an inhibited mineral oil is recommended
  • Industrial equipment where operating conditions are too severe for conventional mineral oil-based R&O-inhibited circulating oils
Premium Rotary Air Compressor Oil meets the requirements of the following industry specifications:
  • DIN 51506, Air Compressor Lubricant Standard, Grade VDL
  • DIN 51517 Part 2, Lubricating Oils, Type CL
  • DIN 51517 Part 3, Lubricating Oils, Type CLP
