| KP-400 is an effective nucleating masterbatch developed by professional PRTC special for glass-fiber reinforced PET and flame-retardant PET with reinforcement. Glass-fiber reinforced PET and flame-retardant and reinforced PET have many excellent properties such as excellent mechanical strength, dimensional stability, high heat-resistance and good electric properties. These outstanding properties enable the two reinforced PET to be used in a wide variety of applications such as electric, electrical, automotive, mechanics and so on. However, the problems of slower crystallization rate and high melt viscosity in common reinforced PET keep them from being used in the applications of engineering plastic field, because the PETs have the weakness of high mould temperature and long process cycle time (sometimes, in order to complete crystallization, heat-treatment needed) in the process of manufacturing. KP-400 solves the problems perfectly. The addition of KP-400 in the PETs not only reduces the melt viscosity but also accelerates the crystalline rate, so as to lower the mould temperature and shorten process cycle time in processing.
