Bio-fed AF-Eco® PB 950594 HL Black Biodegradable Carbon Black Masterbatch
Categories: Polymer; Thermoplastic; Polylactic Acid (PLA) Biopolymer

Material Notes: Application: In agriculture applications, mulch films are used to cover the soil in order to suppress weeds and to promote the crops growth. M•VERA® A5001 (B0090), certified “OK compost INDUSTRIAL” by TÜV AUSTRIA Belgium, is dedicated to mulch film applications. To optimize growth and harvest of the crops and to protect the film against UV radiation the natural tone of M•VERA® A5001 can be colored into black by a masterbatch during the converting process. In order to ensure a perfect dispersion enabling the film converter to produce thin films with a very high opacity BIO-FED has developed together with AF-COLOR a masterbatch grade that unifies all necessary properties to color mulch films according to the needs of the film converters: AF-Eco® PB 950594 HL Black.

  • Masterbatch based on biodegradable carrier with high loading level of carbon black pigment
  • TÜV AUSTRIA Belgium certified in accordance with EN 13432 (S467, “OK compost INDUSTRIAL”)
