Material Notes: General Description

SD252 is plasma densified tungsten carbide-cobalt spray powder, designed for use as a wear resistant coating. The major constituent is W2C. There is also some WC, as well as complex Co-W-C compounds. Its flow characteristics are excellent and the apparent density is high.
