ChevronTexaco HDAX® SAE 40 Ashless Gas Engine Oil
Categories: Fluid; Lubricant

Material Notes: Features

Chevron HDAX Ashless Gas Engine Oils are superior quality, ashless, gas engine oils.

They are formulated with ISOSYN™ base stocks and a carefully balanced ashless package of dispersant, antioxidant, extreme pressure, and corrosion inhibitor additives.

They are formulated without bright stock for all two-stroke and selected four-stroke high speed, high output, turbocharged, natural gas engines operating at full capacity.

Chevron HDAX Ashless Gas Engine Oils provide exceptionally clean engine parts, even under severe operating conditions and extended overhaul intervals. They effectively eliminate the formation of crankcase sludge and maintain clean intake and exhaust ports in two-stroke engines.

Chevron HDAX Ashless Gas Engine Oils eliminate serious problems encountered with ash-containing oils, such as spark plug fouling, pre-ignition, valve guttering, or burning. They reduce wear of piston rings and cylinder liners, and protect against corrosion of vital engine parts.

Applications

Chevron HDAX Gas Engine Oils are recommended for all two-cycle and selected four-cycle stationary engines that require a completely ashless-type engine oil and which use natural gas or synthetic natural gas as a fuel.

Chevron HDAX Gas Engine Oil SAE 30 has full Dresser-Rand (Ingersoll-Rand) approval for Category I, Naturally Aspirated Engines, and Category II, Low Level Turbo-charged engines. Chevron HDAX Gas Engine Oils are recommended for manufactured by Ajax, Caterpillar (except 3400, 3500 and 3600), Clark-Dresser, Cooper Bessemer (two-cycle), Dresser-Rand (Ingersoll-Rand) Categories I and II, Fairbanks-Morse/MEP, Waukesha VR and Intermediate/Clinton, and Worthington (four-cycle).
