LG Chemical TR-558A ABS, Transparent, High Strength  (discontinued **)
Categories: Polymer; Thermoplastic; ABS Polymer; Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene (ABS), Impact Grade, Molded

Material Notes: LG transparent ABS has excellent transparency, impact strength, stiffness, and processability. Since its properties are well balanced, it can be applied widely to a variety of electric and electronic parts, OA machines, toys and others that require transparency and high impact strength. An Izod impact strength or falling dart impact strength of LG transparent ABS is relatively similar to that of general ABS, it is not easily cracked like SAN or PMMA resin in the condition of low impact energy. TR-558 series is good for applications requiring high stiffness.

Since LG transparent ABS TR-558A has excellent transparency and property balance, it could easily be applied on the following products:

Electric and electronic: Vacuum cleaner parts, air-conditioner panel, humidifier water tank, mixer housing, copier parts, telephone parts, computer housing, facsimile parts, printer panel, washing machine panel and cover, electric fan stand, TV front frame, windows of microwave ovens, calculators, semiconductor carrier box

Other Applications: Compact cases, cosmetic parts, tool handles, toys, stationeries, game machine
