FDA: This material complies with FDA regulations in 21 CFR, section 177.1520, paragraph C, section 2.1, for use in articles that contact food. Kosher approved

Processing: Westlake Polymers EC 475 is one of the most easily processed polyethylene coatings. Excellent draw down and relatively low viscosity permits high line speeds at weights as low as 4 lbs. / 3,000 sq. ft. Low sensitivity to fluctuations in melt temperature allows Westlake Polymers EC 475 to be easily processed at melt temperatures of 575° to 625°F. For heavy coatings onto cellophane, 570°F is recommended. Neck-in is minimized, odor and smoke is reduced.
