Material Notes: Thermoplastic Starch / Polystyrene Hybrid Resin. Features: 40% Thermoplastic Starch (biodegradable according to ISO 20200:2015), Easy to Process, Lower Processing Temperatures, FDA Compliant.

Applications: Extrusion blowing, Films, Bags.

This bio-based starch-based resin is an option to replace traditional resins such as Polypropylene (PP), Polyethylene (PE) and Polystyrene (PS) for single-use applications and / or packaging products. All Biorene® grades are “OK biobased” certified, offered by TÜV AUSTRIA.
