Material Notes: DuPont FEP meets the ASTM specification for FEP - Fluorocarbon Molding and Extrusion Materials under ASTM Designation D2116-95a. Has excellent chemical resistance, superior electrical properties, high service temperatures, outstanding low temperature toughness and unique flame resistance. Processed by conventional melt-extrusion and molding techniques. Resin Characteristics: Grade specially designed to be melt extruded onto fine wire at high speed. Uses: Insulation for telecommunication and electronic data cabling.

Chemours was formed from former DuPont performance chemicals businesses, including DuPont Fluoroproducts, in 2015. This specific product was discontinued prior to the formation of Chemours.
