| CHR® 06004 is manufactured from a laminate of aluminium foil and silicone adhesive impregnated fibreglass cloth. Features/Benefits: CHR® 06004 offers excellent abrasion resistance and is very conformable. The specially formulated silicone adhesive system provides an excellent bond to the part being masked and holds the tape firmly in place throughout the entire spraying process. It also removes cleanly reducing cleaning of the part. Applications: Saint-Gobain Performance Plastics 06004 is used in applications where high temperatures and/or abrasion are issues. CHR® 06004 is used to mask parts during thermal spray applications, and because of the abrasion resistance of the aluminium foil, is effective when used in the HVOF process. |
