Material Notes: LE4217 is a black crosslinkable polyethylene compound designed for track resistant power cable insulation and jacketing. APPLICATION: LE4217 contains carbon black and UV stabilizer and specifically suited for outdoor installations such as OC cables. LE4217 is suitable as a jacket or insulation, for power cables rated up to 35kV. However it is recommended that for cables rated above 12kV, that a suitable conductor shield such as LE0594 or LE0595 be used for optimum performance. Specifications: ICEA S-94-649.
