Borealis Borlink™ LE0594 Crosslinkable Semiconductive Compound for Shielding of Power Cables

Material Notes: Low Sulphur LE0594 is designed for use as a conductor and bonded insulation shield for medium and high voltage cables. LE0594 is a peroxide crosslinkable compound and is specifically intended to meet cable specifications based on crosslinked polyethylene insulations. It lends itself readily to various manufacturing processes including triple extrusion.

Low Sulphur LE0594 is based on an ethylene vinyl acetate copolymer (EVA) and is designed to meet the stringent shrinkback requirements for cables with aluminum conductors. It should not be used on copper conductors.
