Structure & Characteristics: C6H4(CH3)2. Synthesized by extraction (using solvent) followed by purification of pyrolysis gasoline evolved from NCC process. Has 3 isomers; o-, m-, and p-, and isolation of different isomers require high degree of fine distillation since their boiling points are similar.
