Material Notes: SABIC® PPcompound 8900 is a mineral filled modified polypropylene. This material combines high flow with a very high stiffness and high impact, as well as a very low shrinkage and CLTE. The high stiffness and low CLTE makes the material suited for high demanding applications. Typical applications include automotive exterior parts such as large thin wall zero gap bumper designs and (offline painted) vertical body panels. It can be used in painted and unpainted applications with UV stabilization added on demand. SABIC® PPcompound 8900 is a designated automotive grade. IMDS ID: 62202096
