Material Notes:	Applications ALATHON H 5642 is a high flow injection molding grade of resin designed for fast cycle and thin-wall molding. It provides excellent stiffness and good impact resistance. Typical applications include over-caps, medium thin-wall containers for packaging food and industrial products. Regulatory Status H 5642 meets the requirements of Food and Drug Administration regulation, 21 CFR 177.1520. This regulation allows the use of this olefin polymer in "…articles or components of articles intended for use in contact with food." Specific limitations or conditions of use may apply. Processing Techniques Specific recommendations for processing H 5642 can only be made when the processing conditions, equipment and end use are known. This product is from the former Equistar product line.
