Konson IS60-80 Masterbatch
Categories: Other Engineering Material; Additive/Filler for Polymer

Material Notes: Composition: 80% Total sulfur (60% insoluble and 40% soluble sulphur) 20% EPDM/EVA binder and dispersing agents

Use Characteristics: Konson® IS 60-80 contains 80 % of total sulphur type, which is 60 % insoluble in carbon disulphide and other solvents as well as 40 % of soluble sulphur. Konson® IS 60-80 is a vulcanizing agent for all natural and synthetic rubber compounds in which sulphur bloom or infiltration of neighbouring layers of compound should be avoided. The use of insoluble sulphur Konson® IS 60-80 is therefore to be recommended for all applications that require no blooming, mutilayer curing, or where good ply-adhesion is essential.

Processing Advantages: The thermoplastic, excellent compatible EPDM/EVA binder which is combined with active dispersing promoters allows much more easily and quickly incorporation and excellent dispersion in the rubber mixing. In this way, optimal activity of the effective total sulfur is assured.

Dosage levels: Same phr with normal powder IS 60, normally 1-5phr.

Applications: All types of tires, conveyor belts, retreading tire, assembled hoses, technical articles, e.g. seals, rollers etc
