Application: Octacalcium phosphate (OCP) is one of the main components of teeth and bones. It has better biodegradability than hydroxyapatite and good osteoconductivity and osteoinductivity. It is commonly used as a filler for bone defects, facilitating the formation of bone as a scaffold. it can also be used as a capping agent to promote the formation of dentin bridges.
