Akrochem Accelerator OMTS
Categories: Other Engineering Material

Material Notes: Product Description: Accelerator OMTS is recommended as a delayed action accelerator for natural and many synthetic rubber polymer. It is more delayed action than CBTS, yet is faster curing than OBTS. OMTS offer the rubber chemist a single component modification for critical vulcanization articles with relative low melt point.

Application: OMTS is recommended for applications where extended processing safety is required. It is particularly useful for thick cross section articles where delayed scorch and rapid cure completion are a must. It can be compounded alone or in combination with many secondary accelerators. Typical dosages range for 0.5 to 3.5 PHR depending on the length of timed needed to prevent on-set of cure.
